Dr. Tobias Mörschel

Tobias has worked for the FES for over 20 years in various functions and places. His last assignments were as director of the FES office in Italy/Rome from 2019 to early 2024 and as director of the FES office in the Baltic States based in Riga/Latvia from 2016 to 2019. He studied history, political science and German language and literature in Freiburg, Dublin, Berlin and Rome. He holds a PhD in History from the University of Freiburg.

Justin Nogarede

Senior Policy Officer

Justin focuses on data protection issues at the workplace, as well as the political economy of digitalisation. Before joining the team, he covered the digital policy portfolio at the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS). In the past, he also worked as policy officer in the Secretariat-General of the European Commission, on better regulation, the application of EU law, and various digital and single market policy files, such as the Digital Single Market Strategy, standard-essential patents, audio-visual media, Internet governance, and product liability. Justin holds an LL.M. in European Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam. 

Dr. Inga Sabanova

Policy Officer

Inga has more than 10 years of experience in policy research, academia and management of multi-stakeholder projects for EU institutions. Her research interests lie in new technologies in the workplace and the intersectional approach in understanding inequalities in the world of work. Before joining the team, for several years Inga has been involved in implementation of the EC-funded projects, e.g.  the Cybersecurity Requirements for ICT Products, ELIIT Project - European Light Industries Innovation and Technology, the European Construction Sector Observatory, Digital Innovation Hubs, etc. In the past, she also worked at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and the University of Sussex, UK. Inga holds a PhD in Sociology from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

Oliver Philipp

Policy Officer

Oliver focuses on new technologies in the workplace and their impacts on workers, as well as the platformisation of work. Before joining the team, Oliver worked for several years in various functions at FES headquarter in Berlin, where he primarily focused on topics related to European Integration. Oliver holds an M.A. in European Studies from the Universities of Mainz, Dijon and Opole (Poland).

Ha-Thu Mai

Administrative Officer

Ha-Thu is responsible for event organisation, office administration and communication. Before joining the team in Brussels in January 2022, she had worked for almost seven years at FES office in Hanoi, where she managed an EU-funded project and was responsible for FES cooperation with trade unions and civil society in Vietnam. She studied economics at National Economics University in Hanoi.

Andrea Zingui

Financial Officer

andrea.zingui(at)fes.de

Andrea joined FES Future of Work in October 2021. She ensures a smoothly running budget management and supports the team with office administration, proofreading (en/de/fr) and event organisation. She has over 15 years of experience in financial management thanks to her previous post at FES office in Yaounde/Cameroon and involvement in Regional FES- projects in West Africa.
